Jill Cherith Cooper Smith, 39 of Hahira, passed to the other side, November 7, 2012. She was born on August 21, 1973 in Valdosta, Georgia. Jill is survived by her father, Jerry Cooper, her mother, Carol Cooper, a brother, Josh Cooper, nephew, Storm Cooper, niece, Jaylan Cooper, her husband, Ben Smith and a very large family and extended family.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Jill's behalf in the Chapel at the Crescent, 900 North Patterson Street, Valdosta, on November 17, 2012 from 4 – 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Eating Disorders Association, NEDA, 165 West 46th Street, New York, NY 10036.
