Jewel Wilson Sharpe, 74, of Hahira died Saturday, March 3, 2018 at her home. She was born in Moultrie, Georgia on September 10, 1943 to the late Marshall and Della O’Hearn Wilson and had lived in Hahira for many years. Mrs. Sharpe was a member of the Salem United Methodist Church in Hahira. She loved her family, going to yard sales, jewelry and playing and listening to gospel music.
Survivors include her husband, Jeff Sharpe of Hahira; her daughter and companion, Patricia Knight and Rusty Terry of Meigs, GA; her son and daughter in law, Travis Lee and Kathy Spurlin of Hartsfield, GA; two brothers and a sister in law, Bobby and Patricia Wilson of Norman Park, GA, Albert Wilson of Albany, GA; her sister, Shirley Weldon of Pavo, GA; brother in law and sisters in law, Earl Dean and Debbie Sharpe of Valdosta, Janie Jones of Barney, GA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorene Smith and Bessie Woods and two brothers, Johnny Ray Wilson and Hoyt Wilson.
Graveside services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at the Salem Cemetery with Rev. Russ Elkins officiating.
