Jessie "Buddy" Kinchens Jr., 60, of Valdosta died on Monday, February 18, 2013 at Langdale Hospice House following a lengthy illness. He was born in Immokalee, Florida on April 28, 1952 to the late Jessie Sr. and Myrtle West Kinchens. He was a self-employed painter and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Lisa Kinchens of Lake Park and Jessie and Cammella Kinchens of Clearmont, Florida; four daughters, Kimberly Kinchens of Bushnell, Florida, Felisha Trevino of Leesburg, Florida, Rebecca Kinchens of Mascote, Florida and Katie Kinchens of Leesburg, Florida; 13 grandchildren; five sisters, Frances Wright of Texas, Annie Murle Augiler of Haines City, Florida, Diane Altman of Valdosta, Carolyn Romo and Melinda Martinez both of Apopka Florida; three brothers, Robert Kinchens of Belleville, Florida, David Kinchens of Leesburg, Florida and Eddie Kinchens of Zellwood, Florida; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Kinchens and a sister Jonita Kinchens.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Carson McLane Funeral Home from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in Apopka, Florida at the Loomis Funeral Home.
