Jerry West Vickers

Jerry West Vickers, 76, of Hahira died Thursday, June 16, 2016 at South GA Medical Center. He was born in Cook County, GA on September 17, 1939 to the late Willie West Vickers and Willmina Sharpe Vickers. Mr. Vickers was a retired truck driver and a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Tim and Kimbely Tyson and Todd and Colette Tyson of Hahira, grandchildren, Amber Diana Tyson and Josh Young, Morgan J. Tyson and Shelby Brooks and Emily Fisher, great grandchildren, Grayson James Young and Cason Morgan Tyson, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jennie Ann Vickers, one sister, Nina L. Mott, two brothers, Fred R. Vickers and Jimmie Vickers.
Graveside funeral services will be held Monday, June 20, 2016 at ten a. m. at Shiloh Cemetery with Reverend Creston Hulett officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 18, 2016 from six until eight p. m. at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira.
