Jerry Lee Wood

Jerry Lee Wood, 54, of Lake Park, died on Friday, April 19, 2013, at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. Born in Houston, Texas on June 27, 1958 he had lived in Lowndes County most of his life. Mr. Wood was employed by Four Star Freightliner.
Survivors are his mother, Rheda Brewer McPherson of Lake Park; brothers and sisters in law, Jr. and Liz Wood of Clyattville, Bruce and Gayle Wood, Gene and Deana Wood of Statenville, Timmy Wood of Brunswick; sister and brother in law, Jennifer and Ervin Drury of Lake Park; his companion, Karla Phelps and Karla's daughter, Kasey of Lake Park; numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles and special friends, Tommy and Janice Mullis of Lake Park. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wood, a brother, William David Wood and his father, Walter C. Wood, Sr.
