Jennifer Michelle Rebenack, 27, of Valdosta, passed suddenly on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at her home after a brief illness.
She was born with special needs on July 26, 1983 in Tampa, FL, a daughter of Dr. Paul Rebenack and Deborah Michelle Mathis Rebenack. Jennifer attended public school in Jacksonville, FL, and graduated from the Alden Road Exceptional Student Center. She was happy, loved her family and being with them, and loved animals too.
Anyone that has ever met Jennifer will never forget her.
She is survived by her mother, Deborah Michelle Rebenack of Valdosta; her father and step-mother, Dr. Paul Rebenack and Normarie; a brother, Matthew Rebenack; a sister, Siobhan Rebenack; a step-brother, Eric Martinez; a step-sister, Amanda Martinez, all of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandmother, Bobbie Ann Coody of Valdosta; two step-grandmothers, Pauline Mathis of Fruit Cove, FL, and Norma Diaz of Jacksonville, FL; four uncles and aunts, Lee and Julie Mathis of Fruit Cove, FL, Edward and Judy Rebenack of New Jersey, James and Mary Rebenack of Colorado, and William and Betty Ann Rebenack of New Jersey; numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins; and a special great-aunt, Brenda James of Valdosta. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Margaret and William Rebenack of Jacksonville, FL; maternal grandfather, Harry Mathis of Fruit Cove, FL; maternal step-grandfather, Gene Coody of Valdosta; and her godparents, aunt Barbara Rebenack and uncle John Rebenack, both of Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral Services for Jennifer will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Foster officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday morning.
