Jenelle Lewis Moore

JENELLE LEWIS MOORE, 64, of Hahira died Monday, January 15, 2007 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born in Cook County on September 2, 1942 to the late Luther Charles and Iva Nell Loveless Lewis and had lived in Hahira most of her life. Mrs. Moore was a registered nurse who loved to take care of people in time of sickness. She was a member of the Omar Heights Baptist Church in Cordele and attended the Cecil Baptist Church. Mrs. Moore loved horseback riding, fishing and loved all animals.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Renelle and Gary Hogan of Hahira, son and daughter in law, Stephen and Charlotte Cowart of Valdosta, three grandchildren, Jason Hogan, Alison Hogan and Stephen Cowart, Jr. She was preceded in death by a son, David Moore, a granddaughter, Jessica Cowart and a sister, Ann Redding.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Thursday, January 18, 2007 in the chapel of Martin/McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Colon officiating. Burial will follow in the Friendship Cemetery.
