Jeffrey Ray Seyfried

Jeffrey Ray Seyfried, 58, of Valdosta died Monday, September 20, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born on November 21, 1962 in Beech Grove, Indiana and had lived in Valdosta for many years and served in the United States Air Force. Jeffrey enjoyed playing the guitar, hunting, fishing and farming. He enjoyed spending time with and spoiling his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Seyfried, his son, Nicholas Seyfried, his daughter and son in law, Melissa and T. J. Taylor all of Valdosta; his grandchildren, Matthew Threet, Amaryllis McCall, Cameron Seyfried, “Jenny Jam” Taylor; his mother, Gloria Russell of Greenwood, IN, his brother, John Seyfried of Morgantown, IN; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond L. Seyfried and his sister, Diana Caldwell.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on both Friday, September 24, 2021 and Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 5-7 pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home.
