Jeffrey L. Poppert

Jeffrey L. Poppert, 25, of Valdosta died on Monday, July 15, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 1, 1987 in Alamogordo, New Mexico and was a graduate of Valdosta High School. He worked as a locator for STS Locating Company and he loved to collect medieval memorabilia.

Survivors include his son, Leo Ares Poppert of Valdosta; his mother, Anita Kraus of Valdosta; his father, Rex Poppert of Cookville, Tennessee; a sister, Stephanie Poppert of Tempe, Arizona; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Ashleigh Poppert of Valdosta; a niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-dad, Larry Kraus.
