Jeffrey H. Thompson

JEFFREY H. THOMPSON, 75, of Valdosta died Friday, March 2, 2007 at the Memorial Convalescent Center in Adel after a lengthy illness. He was born on July 2, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Norman Thompson and the late Jean Louise Chamberlain Thompson and had lived in this area for many years. Mr. Thompson was a veteran of the United States Marines and retired from the Farmers Home Administration.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Thompson of Valdosta, one daughter and son in law, Lisa Kay and David Boyd of Jacksonville, Fla., three grandchildren, Stephen Boyd, Katie Futch and Kelly Futch. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Thompson Blocker.
