Jeffery Todd Wells

January 7, 1965 — April 15, 2019

Jeffery Todd Wells, 54, Valdosta, beloved son of Ronald M. and Catherine F. Wells died on Monday, April 15, 2019 at home. A fifth generation Floridian, he was born January 7, 1965 in Winter Haven, FL, a descendant of pioneer Florida families. The family moved to Sylvester, GA in 1972 where he graduated from Worth County High School in 1983. He was a member of the golf and tennis teams. He attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and served in the US Air Force stationed in Germany. He worked in automobile sales for many years. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. He loved fishing at the beach, University of Florida football, golf, NASCAR, and President Trump.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sons, Jeffery Wells, Jr. (Kelsey), of Panama City, FL, Ryan Wells, of Orange Park, FL and Robby Wells (Skyler), of Crescent Beach, FL; two brothers, Mike Wells (Pam), of Douglas and Walt Silfies (Karla), of Valdosta; three grandchildren, Lakyn, Gavin and Ethan Wells, of Panama City; nieces, Allison Wells and Natalee Biles (Travis); nephew, Matthew Silfies; aunts, Beverly Wells, Mary Jane Byrd; uncles, Walter Fussell and Richard Wells.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Natalee Silfies-Biles officiating. The family will receive friends before the service from 3:30-4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial to The Huxford Genealogical Society, Inc. PO Box 595, Homerville, GA 31634.
