Jeff also served on the board of directors of the United Way and the board of directors of the Georgia Restaurant Association. Most recently, he served as a volunteer at the South Georgia Regional Library in Valdosta, due to his love of reading.
Jeff was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Valdosta, where he was a devoted participant of the choir and the board of stewards for many years. One of Jeff's favorite accomplishments was his 22 years of singing with Bottie Chitty and The Singing Americans.
