Jeff Stone

Jeff Stone, 45, of Valdosta, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 4, 2015, at his home.

He was born July 2, 1970 in Hahira, a son of the late Garland Mitchell Stone, Sr. and the late Alma Jean Brooks Stone. Jeff was a loving father, he had a big heart, was very giving, and volunteered every Thursday at the Southland Church Food Bank. He loved life and was a hard working Plumber and Sandblaster. Jeff enjoyed fishing and being outdoors.

He is survived by his two daughters, Amber Nicole Stone of Panama City, FL, and Taylor Stone-Carroll of Dalton; one brother, Garland "Mitch" Stone, Jr. of Valdosta; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie and Mike Greer of Hahira, and Lisa and Larry Young of Ray City; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Tammy, Felicia and Teresa Stone.

An informal Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2015, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the home of Debbie and Mike Greer, 6440 M.J. Taylor Road, Hahira.
