Jeanne Keeler Ryan, 83, of Valdosta died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 after a lengthy illness. Jeanne was born on August 4, 1927 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Henry W. Keeler, Sr. and Sadie Peeples Keeler. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Tyler, Sr. and Clarence E. Ryan, Sr., a son, Robert (Bobby) Tyler, Jr. and a brother, Henry W. Keeler, Jr.
Jeanne was a member of the Central Avenue Church of Christ. She served as secretary/treasurer of the Woodmen of the World and also as State and National secretary for the Pink Lady Auxiliary at South Georgia Medical Center. Jeanne also loved to entertain her friends with bridge parties at her home and also enjoyed many senior bus trips.
Survivors include her brother and two sisters in law, James E. and Wilda Keeler, Betty Keeler all of Jacksonville, Fla., stepsons and stepdaughters in law, Gerald and Judy Ryan, Tommy and Becky Ryan all of Valdosta, step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, nieces and nephew and numerous other relatives and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 10am, Friday, December 10, 2010 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. John Klimko officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3pm at the Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer�s Association, 225 N.
