Jeanette M. Oliver

Jeanette M. Oliver, 91, of Valdosta, died on Thursday, June 8, 2017, at Fellowship Home in Brooks County. Born in Coolidge on May 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Wright Megahee and Florence Isabella Bannister Megahee and widow of the late William C. Oliver. Mrs. Oliver was a dedicated homemaker and mother. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Retired from First Federal Savings and Loan, she loved working in her yard, fishing, and enjoyed trips to Biloxi, Mississippi.
Survivors are her sons and daughters in law, Tim and Rita Oliver of Atlanta, Kerry and Tamma Oliver, Bob and Debbie Oliver of Valdosta; grandchildren, William (Kelly) Oliver of Athens, Sommer Oliver, Tori Wade, John (Amy) Darling, Ashley (Kevin) Darling of Valdosta; six great grandchildren, Kate Lynn Wade, Loden Wade, Trevor Darling, Holly Jo Darling, Karmen DeLoach, Karson DeLoach all of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services and entombment will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Mr. Tim Oliver and Mr. Jimmy Hicks will officiate.
