Jeane R. Bowling

Jeane R. Bowling, 84, of Lake Park, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2013, at the Presbyterian Home, Quitman, after a short illness. She was born November 14, 1929 in Jackson, KY, a daughter of the late Shafter and Edna Turner Roberts. Mrs. Bowling and her husband John, had been residents of Lake Park since 2006, moving from Maitland, FL. She was a member of Lake Park Baptist Church.

She is survived by three sons, Gordon D. Bowling of Rochester, NY, Gregory Bowling and wife Kathy of Lake Park, and John S. Bowling of Orlando, FL; three granddaughters; three grandsons; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Merle Bradshaw of New Mexico; three brothers, Jack Roberts of Michigan, Don Roberts of Mississippi, and Howard Roberts of Mississippi; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Bowling; a son, David A. Bowling; six brothers and one sister.

The Funeral Service for Mrs. Bowling will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Lake Park Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Dawson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., prior to the service time.
