Jeane Alice Wilson

Jeane Alice Wilson, 94, of Valdosta passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born on August 24, 1922, an only child of James W. and Hazel Sharp, she moved with her family to Los Angeles, California when she was a small child. Jeane was a member of the Abundant Life Church of God. She loved her family and her church. Jeane was an avid gardener, a good cook and loved to read and study the Bible.
Survivors include her husband of fifty four years, Roy and her five children/step children, Teri Gilford, Peter Oxarart, Robin Black, Tony Wilson and Kema Loo; 17-grandchildren, 23-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, June 2, 2017 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. A private burial will be held at Redland Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 10am-11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Abundant Life Church of God Building Fund, 3419 Knights Academy Road, Valdosta, GA 31605.
