Jean Reynolds, 75, of Ray City, died on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at South Georgia Medical Center following a period of declining health. She was born on November 19, 1945, in Florida to the late James W. and Jimmie Lee Nichols Wilson. Jean was retried from Valdosta Orthopedics where she worked as a doctor’s assistant and was of the Christian faith. She was known to be somewhat of a homebody who enjoyed playing video games on her computer, spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, and spoiling her fur baby, Elsa.
She is survived by her husband, George Reynolds of Ray City; daughters and son-in-law, Lisa and Bubba Creasy of Valdosta, and Jennifer Wiggins of Hephzibah, Georgia; her son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Stacey Brantley of Hahira; daughters and sons-in-law, Liz and James Hewett, and Lorrie and Eddie Brown all of Valdosta; her grandchildren and their spouses, Matt and Katelynn Poole, Jacob Wallace, Brooke Mallory, Tyler Mallory, Dylan Brantley, Gavin Brantley, Gracen Brantley, Dayton Brantley, Brandon and Amber Fraser, Courtney and Kyle Meeks, Kelsie and Ryan Highsmith; great-grandchildren, Matthew Alan Poole, Jr., Sawyer Meeks, and Ryder Highsmith; her sibling, Linda Ann Taylor, James Wilson, and Richard and Karen Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Reynolds was preceded in death by her son, Michael Rich.
A graveside service for Jean Reynolds will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens.
