Jean Jenelle Bellflowers Ganas

Jean Jenelle Bellflowers Ganas, 78, of Hahira died Sunday, May 29, 2016 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. She was born in Hahira on September 26, 1937 to the late Roy, Sr. and Ella Mae Warren Bellflowers. Mrs. Ganas was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and a retired hairdresser with J. C. Penney. She loved spending time with her family, cooking and working in her yards. Mrs. Ganas loved attending country and gospel sings with her sisters and aunt.
Survivors include her children, Alicia Yorkey of Putt-Putt, India, Mechelle Denise and David Garschagen of Raspberry, Russia, Jody Theron and Monica Ganas of Jin Tao, Vietnam; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Mitchell) Brice, Paige (Trevor) Maiden, Andrew Yorkey, Zeke (Hazar) Garschagen, Grace Ganas and Griffin Ganas; her great grandchildren, Zach Brice, John Brice, Barrett Maiden, Anson Maiden and Hailie Maiden; seven brothers and five sisters in law, Roy Bellflowers, Jr., Kenneth and Betsy Bellflowers, Lester and Peggy Bellflowers, Thomas and Saundra Bellflowers all of Hahira, David and Lori Bellflowers of Maryland, Cecil Bellflowers of Hahira, Glen and Cindy Bellflowers of Waycross; three sisters and two brothers in law, Kay Linahan, Ann and Chip Northcutt all of Hahira, Sheila and Joe Black of Atlanta; sister in law, Lanell Bellflowers of Hahira. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Ganas, stepson, Tony Wells and two sisters, Brenda Bellflowers and Tammy Bellflowers.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, June 2, 2016 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery.
