Jean Belcher

Jean Belcher, 73, of Quitman died Friday, September 4, 2015 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Quitman on March 14, 1942 to the late Floyd Edwin Parker and Vera Mae Williams Parker and was a lifelong resident of this area. Mrs. Belcher enjoyed her grandchildren, travelling and cruises.
Survivors include her husband, Charles L. Belcher of Quitman; son and daughter in law, Curtis and Nicole Lynch of Valdosta; daughters, Chalsey Dorsey of Las Vegas, NV and Kathy Perkins of St. Augustine, FL; three grandchildren, Jordan Lynch, C. J. Lynch and Madison Lynch, her cat, Piddle Butt; special friends, Ursula and Allie Johannesen of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Parker.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 from 6-8pm at the Carson McLane Funeral Home, 2215 N. Patterson St., Valdosta, GA 31602. Mrs. Belcher will be cremated following the visitation. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
