Jean A. Habershaw

Jean A. Habershaw, 82, of Valdosta, GA, died on Friday, January 27, 2006. Born in Pawtucket, RI to the late James A. and Mary Louise Habershaw, Miss. Habershaw moved to this area from Pawtucket in 1992. She was a public school teacher in Rhode Island for 25 years and was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Valdosta.

Survivors include two sisters and a brother in law, Joan Bowser, of Charlottesville, VA, and Mary L. & Russell McRae of Valdosta, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no local services for Miss. Habershaw. Burial will occur at a later time at Moshassuck Cemetery, Central Falls, RI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the A.C.T.O Group at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, 100 East Park Ave., Valdosta, GA 31602 or United Hospice Inc., 101 Northside Dr., Valdosta, GA 31602.
