Jason Cowart Loggins, 49, of Valdosta, died on Friday, August 18, 2023. Jason was a writer of science fiction and Superheroes. He loved Rock Art, collecting arrow heads and was passionate about playing the game of chess. He was an avid Florida Gators Fan.

Born in Atlanta on May 11, 1974, Jason is survived by his mother and step father, Brenda Starr Wright and Rusty of Valdosta; his father, Paul Lee Loggins of Gainesville, Georgia; his siblings, Christopher Lee Loggins of Valdosta, Starr Bruce (Corey) , Michelle Loggins of Gainesville, Georgia, Dusty Quinn of Calhoun, Seneca Bates ( Garrett) of Branford, Florida, Corey Wright of Savannah, Savanna Chewning of Lake Park, cousins he was really close to, Misty Kelly and Crystal Kelly; and nephews and a niece he was really close to, Ethan Bruce, Ben Loggins, Brooke Bruce. Many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Jason was preceded in death by a sister, Carrie Wright Commander, grandparents, J.B., and O’Veda Cowart, C.L. and Willie Mae Loggins.

A family gathering and celebration of Jason’s life will take place at a later date. Cremation has taken place by McLane Funeral and Cremation Services. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
