Janie Rambo Phillips

Janie Rambo Phillips, 100, of Holly Hill Nursing Home died on Wednesday, May 21, 2008. Born in Lowndes County on June 5, 1907, she was the daughter of the late William Archie and Janie Becton Rambo. She was a homemaker and member of Ochlawilla Baptist Church in Brooks County. She was preceded in death by a son, two grandchildren and her husband, Willie O. Phillips. She is survived by a brother, William Ned Rambo of Valdosta and daughter in law, Joyce Phillips of Lake Park. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Old Columbia Cemetery in Brooks County.
