Janice Lovoll, 65, of Valdosta and formerly of Michigan, died on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. Born in 1941 in Lansing, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Elanora Main. Mrs. Lovoll was a homemaker and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors are her husband, Kaare Lovoll of Valdosta, daughters and sons in law, Cynthia Malone of Valdosta, Lisa and Jack Winningham of Valdosta, Vera and Randy Cigan of Belleville, Michigan; a son, Leslie Lovoll of Lansing, Michigan, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a sister and brother in law, Judy and Jim Kzeski of Lansing, Michigan, sons in law, Scott Matheson of Valdosta, J. Michael Bass of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lovoll was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Matheson and a brother, Terry Main.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007, at 12:10 p.m. at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church with Father John O’Brien and Reverend Jim Schappaugh officiating. Mrs. Lovoll's cremains will be buried at a later date at McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens. A Rosary will be held at St. John’s at 6 p.m. on Thursday evening followed by visitation until 8 p.m. Condolences may be conveyed online at www.mclanefuneralservices.com
