Janice Carolyn Warren Smith Roark, 74, of Clyattville, GA died Thursday, January 12, 2017 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born on April 29, 1942 in Hahira, GA to the late Dave and Mae P. Warren. Mrs. Roark was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Harvest Church of God.
She is survived by her husband, Everett P. Roark, Jr. of Clyattville, three sons and daughters in law, Roger Floyd Smith (Deana Reed-Smith) of Valdosta, Everett P. Roark III (Pamela Wiley) of Valdosta, Jeffery Dale Roark (Angela Dale Roark) of Hahira, eight grandchildren, Brandi Leigh Baker (Chris), Dana Michelle Smith, Brock Chase Reed, Roger Angelo Smith, Evan Roark (Shelley), Austin Ryan Roark (Hayley Preston), Jillian Roark, Randall Shane Roark and Warren Presley Roark, eight great grandchildren, four sisters, Louelle Barfield Carter of Hahira, Mary Theresa Mixon of Adel, Hazel J. Harper of Clyattville, and Jean Gentry (George) of Plant City, FL. Mrs. Roark is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ella Mae Bellflowers, three brothers, Samp Warren, Charles David Warren, Jr. and Chesley Warren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Brother George Ehling and Mr. Warren P. Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from six until eight p. m. Friday at the funeral home.
