Janet Hancock Noles

Janet Hancock Noles, 67, of Valdosta, died on Friday, May 24, 2013 after an unexpected illness. Born in Hahira to the late Foster & Mildred Fender Hancock, she had lived in Columbus, MS for many years before moving back to this area last year. Mrs. Noles was a member of First Baptist Church in Columbus, MS. Family was her life and she deeply enjoyed the time she spent with all of her family.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, James Alfred Noles of Valdosta, three sons and two daughters in law, Thad Jason Noles, Chad Mason & Terri Noles, and Alan & Angel Noles, all of Fayettville, NC; and three grandchildren, Ember Noles and Lyndsey Noles of Fayettville, NC, and Leiya Cassady of Knoxville, TN. Also surviving are two great-grandchildren Taylor Cassady and Olivia Cassady both of Knoxville, TN, and two brothers, Tommy Hancock and Johnny Hancock and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for Mrs. Noles will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 in the Chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time.
