Janell Walker Jennings

JANELL W. JENNINGS, 71, of Valdosta passed away Sunday, October 2, 2005 at the Crestwood Nursing Home. She was born on April 29, 1934 in Telfair County to the late Uriah and Nellie Little Walker and had lived in Lowndes County for thirty seven years.
Mrs. Jennings was retired from the Lowndes County Tax Assessors Office. She was a member of the ABWA and received the Business Woman of the Year Award in 1981.

Survivors include her husband, William F. Jennings, Sr., three sons, William F. Jennings, Jr., Felix Tillman Jennings and David Uriah Jennings, two sisters, Constance Heuse and Joyce Kitchens, one brother, James Michael Walker, two grandchildren, Timothy Tillman Jennings and Tyler Harper, her close friends, June Hyder and Doris Perkins.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, October 4, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Elvin East officiating.
