Jane Lehman Wright

Jane Lehman Wright, 60, of Valdosta died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Langdale Hospice House. She was born in Hahira on August 24, 1953 to the late Toy Dowis Lehman and Agnes Rosa Mason Lehman. Jane was a medical transcriptionist with Southern OBGYN and worked for a book publishing company. She was of the Baptist faith.

Jane is survived by her husband, Lee Wright of Valdosta, one sister and brother in law, Janet and Larry Herndon of Douglas, one nephew, Robert Herndon of Colquitt, one niece, Julie Herndon of Douglas, her mother in law and father in law, Paul and Lucy Hampton of Valdosta, her sister in law and brother in law, Brenda and Ben Rider of Tampa, her brother in law and sister in law, Phil and Donna Wright of Valdosta, a dear cousin, Jeorge Ann Dorough of Moultrie, her best friend, Peggy Rushing of Lake Park and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents, Major Lee and Florence Lehman and her former husband, Tommy Gamel.

Funeral services will be held at eleven a. m. Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the Martin McLane Funeral Home in Hahira with Reverend Bob Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
