James Robert (Jim) Mcalister

James Robert (Jim) McAlister, 76, of Hahira died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Ft. Benning on April 8, 1944 to the late James Thomas and Gladys Dinkins McAlister. He was a cash register salesman and served in the United States Army Reserves. Mr. McAlister enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila O’Connell McAlister of Hahira; son and daughter in law, Robert (Bob) and Kady McAlister of Cumming, GA; daughter and son in law, Tricia and Chad May of Hahira; grandchildren, Logan May, Madison May, Dawson May, Ashley Ryan McAlister, Jordan McAlister, Drew McAlister, adopted grandson, Chase Johnson.
