James Robert Hendrix

JAMES ROBERT HENDRIX, 38, of Valdosta died Saturday, November 22, 2008. He was born on November 17, 1970 in Lowndes County to James Edward and the late Patricia Ann Fountain Hendrix Beck. Mr. Hendrix was a self employed contractor.

Survivors include his sister, Lynn Hendrix Dinkins of Valdosta, his brother, DeWayne Taylor of Ft. Hood, TX., step-brother, James Beck, Ft Bliss, TX, step-sisters, Jessica Beck, Ft Leonardwood, MO, Cheryl Beck, Valdosta; first cousin, Mike and Candy Sims of Valdosta; special nieces and nephews, Courtney Cantrell and Robert Dinkins, Kayla and Lance Taylor, Dalton Sims, Mike Sims, III and Kaitlyn Sims, other first cousins, Justin Sims, Angela Green, Sidney Green, Robin Harris, Gina Fountain; aunts and uncles, Deborah Sims, Benny and Susan Green all of Lake Park, Tammy Story, Leesburg, FL; his grandparents, Edward Hendrix of Eastman, Robert and Anita Fountain of Carrollton, special friends, Pam Ringos and Earl Walker of Valdosta. He was also preceded in death by a grandmother, Maryann Holcomb, uncle, Mike Sims.

Memorial services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with Brant Pickard officiating.
