James Richard (Jimmy) Carter, Iii

James Richard (Jimmy) Carter, III, 22, of Athens and formerly of Valdosta died Tuesday, August 23, 2011. He was born on March 23, 1989 in Valdosta and was currently a student at the University of Georgia. Jimmy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Survivors include his parents, Richard and Sharon Carter, his brother, Steve Carter all of Valdosta, his grandparents, Jim and Fran McCormick of Fallbrook, California, Jimmie Dick and Leta Carter of Rolling Fork, MS., numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. Rev. Reese Kyzar will officiate.
