Mr. James Neil Anderson passed away on February 19, 2018 at the South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta Georgia following a brief illness. Neil, formally of Rhine Georgia, was born on July 25, 1947 in Hawkinsville, GA and was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Anderson, formally of Rhine, GA. He was a graduate of Brooks County High School in Quitman, GA and Valdosta State College. He was currently living in Valdosta, GA after spending much of his adult life in Lawrenceville, GA. Neil spent four years in the United States Navy from 1968 to 1972. Neil loved his family and loved nothing more than spending time at family gatherings with his many cousins.

He is survived by his two brothers, Richard Anderson (Pamela) of Crestview, Florida, and Keith Anderson (Crystal) of Valdosta, GA, and his sister Angela Retterbush (Blake) of Jacksonville, Florida. He had several nieces and nephews that he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents.
