James “Curtis” Marshall, 89, of Valdosta, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at his residence. He was born on Quitman, GA, on July 8, 1934 to the late Offie and Clyde Rowell Marshall. He loved to fish with his wife of 66 years Agnes, and family. He traveled around the United States in his motor home and passionate about gardening. He worked as a mechanic for Sears and could fix anything and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Curtis is survived by his loving wife Agnes Marshall of Valdosta, his sons Leighton Marshall, of England, Phillip Marshall, of Valdosta, and Tony Marshall (Wanda) of St. Petersburg, FL; his nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Melvin Marshall, Langford Marshall, and Tiddy Marshall.
A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Pauline Baptist Church Cemetery with Mr. Jerry DeLoach officiating. Condolences to the family may be conveyed at www.mclanefuneralservices.com
