JAMES M. BRISTOW, 68, of Valdosta died Thursday, January 12, 2006. He was born on July 2, 1937 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Belsur and Maude Mead Bristow and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mr. Bristow was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, Janice Bristow of Valdosta, one daughter and son in law, Stacey and Jay Harris of Marietta, one son, Steven Bristow of Louisville, KY., two grandchildren, Luc Harris and Brie Harris both of Marietta, one sister and brother in law, Geraldine and Sy Sims of Rockport, TX., one brother, Gene Bristow.
Memorial services will be held at 2:30p.m., Sunday, January 15, 2006 at the Messiah Lutheran Church with Rev. Richard Pieplow officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church or to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research, 1-800-708-7644.
