James Kenneth "Ken" Pass, 69, of Valdosta died Monday, February 8, 2016 at Langdale Hospice House. He was born on February 3, 1947 in Gainesville, GA to the late James Winford Pass and Ina Velma Palmer Pass. Ken had a long successful career in sales management including newspaper advertising sales in Georgia and Florida. He received "National Salesman Of The Year Award" with the Atlanta Journal Constitution. His sales career continued with the building industry from which he retired after twenty years of service as general manager with Patrick Industries. Ken's hobbies included fishing, marksman shooting and working. He was a United States Air Force veteran and of the Baptist faith.
Ken is survived by his wife, Linda Spikes Pass of Valdosta, son, Jarrod Wade Pass and his fiancé, Kelley DeAnna Neidlinger of Valdosta, son and daughter in law, Brian Kenneth Pass and Paola Pass of Canton, GA, grandson, Brandon Pass and granddaughter, Avery Pass, two sisters, Patricia Ann Mason of Douglasville, GA and Pamela Pass Grant of Oakwood, GA, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 12, 2016 at two p. m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Bob Willis officiating.
