James Keith Skiles, 80, of Hahira died Sunday, April 25, 2021 at South Georgia Medical Center after a short illness. He was born on December 6, 1940 in Elizabeth, Louisiana to the late Wilburn and Nellie Rouqeou Skiles and had lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Skiles was a Baptist and retired from Greyhound Bus Lines as a driver. He was a Christian who loved God and life and was a loving and generous person.
Survivors include two daughters, Michelle and Jerome Willis of Hahira, Allison Skiles and Cheryl Middleton of Palm Harbor, FL; his grandchildren, Emily Willis, Georgia Willis, Rylee Middleton, Sydnee Middleton, Henry Skiles, Will Skiles, Felicia Skiles; his nieces and spouses, Pam and Jay Strickler, Lisa and Rex Baldwin, Melanie and Bert Evans, Heather Harris. He was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Skiles, two brothers and sisters in law, Donald Lee and Dot Skiles, Dwaine and Gail Skiles.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm, Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Thomasville at 4:30pm.
