James Fredrick (Freddie) Jackson

James Fredrick "Freddie" Jackson, 66, of Valdosta, died on Friday, May 7, 2010 at Langdale Hospice House. Born in Valdosta, on May 21, 1943, he was the son of the late James and Odell Rainey Jackson. Freddie was a self employed painter, enjoyed fishing and being outdoors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the American Legion. He was a Baptist.

Survivors are his brother, Terry Jackson of Valdosta, stepdaughter, Angie and Tim Kult of Jacksonville, Florida, step-son, Mike Clark of South Carolina; nieces and nephews, Felicia Revels, Alex and Timmy Revels, Kayla Jackson, Kim Azpeitia and Sev; family friend, Bruce Nesbitt of Valdosta and sister-in-law, Judy Pittman of Lake Park. He was preceded in death by his wife Ann Greene Jackson, and a special friend, Essie Wilson.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010, at 4:00 pm in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
