James C Harrell

James C. Harrell, 82, of Valdosta, died on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Fellowship Home. He was born on August 10, 1941, in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Clifford Dorsey Harrell and Doris Calhoun Huggins and has been a lifelong resident of this area. Mr. Harrell was a veteran of the Army National Guard and was employed by the United States Post Office in Valdosta. He attended Crossroads Baptist church and loved all kinds of racing, including go-carts and stock cars. Mr. Harrell worked with the Valdosta Fire Department for several years, drove and worked on his corvette and loved his cats. He was married to Mrs. Dianne Tyre Harrell for 57 years.

Mr. Harrell is survived by his wife, Dianne Harrell of Valdosta. His son and his spouse, Chris and Cyndi Harrell of Valdosta; grandchildren and their spouses, Wyatt and Kaylin Harrell of Virginia, Katelyn and Dusty Noles of Valdosta; great grandson, Wesley Noles; and sister Edwina McKay of Newberry, Florida. Mr. Harrell is preceded in death by his parents and loving aunt and uncle, Kate and Ed Daniels.
