James Alan Fowler, 50, of Lake Park passed away on June 6, 2015 after a brief illness. He was born in Atlanta, GA on November 10, 1964 to Annette Ray Fowler and the late Johnnie Elmer Fowler. Mr. Fowler had been a resident of this area for most of his life and was a volunteer firefighter with the Twin Lakes Fire Department for over thirty years. His involvement with the fire department made way for him to become a certified first responder and safety officer.
James Alan Fowler is survived by his mother, Annette Ray Fowler of Lake Park; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, David and Stephanie Fowler of Lake Park, Jody Lee and Louise W. Fowler of Valdosta, Glen Fowler of Lake Park; two nephews, John Alexander Fowler of Lake Park, Jon Fowler of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his father Johnnie Elmer Fowler.
A graveside service for James Alan Fowler will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Copeland Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Dawson officiating. There will be no public visitation. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com. McLane Lakewood Funeral Home
