James A. (Buddy) Cody

James A. (Buddy) Cody, 59, of Valdosta died Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Valdosta on October 18, 1960 and was a lifelong resident of Valdosta. Buddy was a Baptist, a member of the VHS Marchin Cats Band, enjoyed NASCAR and deep sea fishing.
Survivors include his sister and brother in law, Camille and Rodger Hormell of Ocean Springs, MS and his special companion and friend, Missy Pendleton of Valdosta. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Wynne, his father, James A. (Bud) Cody and a sister, Celena Cody.
