Jackie “Jack” Edwards Davis, 77, of Valdosta, GA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on February 15, 2024, after a battle with esophageal cancer.
He was born on October 2, 1946, in Lansing, Michigan to Gayle and Virginia (nee Perdue) Davis. Jackie attended Charlotte High School and was an over-the-road truck driver for most of his career. He was a skilled wheeler and dealer, never missed an opportunity to find a great deal at an auction or yard sale.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother John, who died during the Vietnam War, and sisters Tyrrie Metters and Foy Jean Hackler.
There will be no public funeral services, the family will celebrate his life with a private memorial at a future date. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.
