Jack Joseph Mester, Jr., 44, of Valdosta passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home. He was born in Summerville, New Jersey on January 7, 1972 and had lived in Valdosta for many years. Mr. Mester was a truck driver with Sunbelt Rental Company and attended the Church of Christ. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Mr. Mester was a Director of the Bowling Association and a volunteer with Lowndes High Georgia Bridgeman for five years.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Mester; two daughters, Kari Mester and Kelli Mester all of Valdosta; his mother, Norma Jean Stangle Francais of Hudson, FL, his stepmother, Dawn Mester of Lake Park; two sisters and brother in law, Tammy Mester and James Warner of Hahira, Morgan Mester of Statenville; parents in law, June and David Randolph; sisters in law and brothers in law, Jessica Gilson, Raymond Powell, Tony and Stacy Beck all of Valdosta, Crystal Kendall of Orange, TX., numerous nieces, nephews and many loved ones in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Ohio. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack J. Mester, Sr., his sister, Judith Mason Mester and a nephew, Kodie Turner.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm, Friday, October 28, 2016 at Sasser's Landing Cemetery in Jennings, Florida. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-8pm at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home, 3119 W. Marion Ave., Lake Park, GA 31636.
