Jack Edward Conyer

Jack Edward Conyer, 73, of Lake Park, GA, formerly of Cochran, GA passed away January 9, 2015 at the Langdale Hospice House after a battle with leukemia. He was born in Cleveland, OH on February 4, 1941 to the late Clarence Edward Conyer and Agnes Mozelle Vinson Conyer. Mr. Conyer was retired from the civil service at Robins Air Force Base and in his spare time he enjoyed playing the steel guitar for numerous bands.

Mr. Conyer is survived by his wife, Sandra Conyer of Lake Park; one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Linda Conyer; two grandchildren, Kyle and Curtis Conyer, all of Cochran, GA; his beloved twin sister, Janet Rudd of Elk Grove, CA; three brothers, James Douglas Conyer of Watauga, TN, Jeffrey Lynn Conyer (Debbie) of Oak Ridge, TN, James Brunnemer (Louella) of Nashville, IN; three sisters, Jennifer Lee Queen (Dennis) of Catoosa, OK, Joy Lynn of Hudson, FL, Jeanne George (Fred) of DeLand, FL; sister-in-law Pat Webb (Austin) of Atlanta, GA; mother-in-law, Catherine Towery of Lake Park, GA; three step children, Gerald Kevin Thompson (Donna) of Valdosta, GA, Keith Thompson (Elsie) of Tifton, GA, Angie Smith (Charles) of LaGrange, GA; nine step-grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Jack Edward Conyer will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Francis Lake Baptist Church in Lake Park, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Conyer will be buried at Limestone Memorial Gardens in Cochran, GA.
