Jack C. Morgan, Jr., 73, of Ft. Myers, formerly of Valdosta, GA, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020. He was born in Alapaha, GA on June 22, 1947 to the late Jack C. Morgan, Sr. and Naomi Luke Morgan. He was a graduate of Valdosta High School and went on to earn an Associates Degree from Georgia Military College. He served 9 ½ years in the Navy Air Reserves and was a USCG Merchant Mariner Boat Captain.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife Frances Claudette Morgan, of Ft. Myers, son Jack C. Morgan, III and daughter in law, Morgan A. Morgan, both of Ft. Myers and grandson, Jackson Morgan; daughter Jill S. Tomlinson, of Ft. Myers; grandson Timothy Brady, Jr., of Atlanta, GA; granddaughter Morgan E. Brady, of Macon, GA; brothers Tommy Morgan, Ronnie Morgan, and Allen Morgan, all of Wewahitchka, FL, and Mike Morgan and his wife Jan, of Valdosta; and his faithful buddy Max. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 2p.m. in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Reverend Jay Watkins and son, Jack C. Morgan, III officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
