Jack B. Sanders

Jack B. Sanders, 53, of Valdosta died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at home with his wife by his side. He was born in Valdosta on November 20, 1961 to Emory F. (Jock) Sanders and the late Martha Ann Brantley Sanders. Mr. Sanders was a Southern Baptist Minister and a member of Corinth Baptist Church. He loved to hunt and fish with his many friends and family members. Mr. Sanders enjoyed ministering to youth and leading people to Jesus. Jack spent all his spare time with the loves of his life, his wife, Miranda and daughter, Mariah.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Miranda Sanders, daughter, Mariah Ann Sanders, father, Emory F. (Jock) Sanders and step mother, Rhonda Sanders, three sisters and two brothers in law, Joni Carlsen, Tonya and Matt Davis all of Valdosta, Tammie and Edgar Cabrera of Kentucky, brother and sister in law, Freddie and Jamie Sanders of Valdosta, several nieces and nephews, several cousins, mother in law and father in law, Frances and Harmon Weldon of Hahira and brother in law and sister in law, Michael and Emilia Weldon of Valdosta. Mr. Sanders is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Ann Brantley Sanders.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 at three p. m. at Corinth Baptist Church with Dr. Henry Cannington officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from two until three p. m. at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Corinth Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 4089 Corinth Church Road, Lake Park, GA 31636.
