Jack Anderson Mullis, Sr.

Jack Anderson Mullis, Sr., 84, of Hahira passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at South Georgia Medical Center. He was born in Moultrie, GA on December 10, 1929 to the late Asa D. Mullis, Sr. and Ethel Croft Mullis. He lived in Moultrie and Thomasville before moving to Hahira. Mr. Mullis was a member of the Bethany Baptist Church and a retired electrician. He enjoyed working, fishing, spending time at the farm and his grandchildren's activities.

Survivors include his four children and their spouses, Kathie and David Cardin of Boston, GA, Jack, Jr. and Martha Mullis of Ray City, Jerry and Gail Mullis of Hahira, Lori and David Piland of Thomasville, his grandchildren, Shon Cardin, Kimberly (Chip) Jenkins, Alena Mullis, Andy (Jennifer) Mullis, Larry (Jennifer) Mullis, Candi (Heath) Spradley, Gary Hayes, Ian Carnahan, 10-great grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters in law, William S. Mullis, Sr. of Valdosta, Asa D., Jr. and Dolly Mullis of Lakeland, FL, Eugene, Sr. and Holly Mullis of Moultrie, two sisters, Mary Alice Theroux of Tucson, AZ and Sherry Lynn Mullis of Owasso, OK. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathlun Warner Mullis, a grandson, Justin Mullis and a sister, Dorothy Pearl Sherfield.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Bethany Baptist Church with Pastor Nick Kudyk officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Bethany Cemetery.
