Isaac Elbaz, 69, of Poway, CA, died on Friday, Sept 18, 2020 at his home. Born in Jerusalem, Israel to the late Ephraim Elbaz and Solica Mishali Elbaz, he had lived in the San Diego area for 16 years. Before moving to the United States, he had served in the Israeli Defense Force. For many years, Isaac operated a Bakery in Bethesda, MD.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Elbaz of Poway, CA; his son, Daniel Elbaz of Maryland, daughter Natalie Elbaz Hambrect also of Maryland; four granddaughters, Parker Elbaz, Ashlyn Hambrect, Juliet Hambrect, Haley Hambrect; nine brothers and sisters, Miriam Elbaz of Rabat, Morocco, Mordechai Elbaz of Tel Aviv, Israel, Pnina Bivas of Jerusalem, Avram Elbaz of Jerusalem, Nissim Elbaz of Los Angeles, CA, Moshe Elbaz of Valdosta, Tzion Elbaz of Jerusalem, Jacob Elbaz of Bethesda, MD, and Rachel Jacobson of Swampscott, MA.
A graveside service was held at Noon on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 in the Hebrew section of Sunset Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Moshe Elbaz, his brother, will officiate. Condolences to the family may be conveyed on the obituary page of www.mclanecares.com Carson McLane Funeral Home
