Irene Clara Rogers Smith

Irene Clara Rogers Smith, 62, of Valdosta died Monday, December 10, 2012 at her home. She was born in Valdosta on February 5, 1950 to the late John L. and Bonnie Faye Green Rogers. Mrs. Smith was a member of the Lake Park Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Survivors include her two daughters and a son in law, Missy and Michael Davis, Virginia Mixon all of Valdosta, four grandchildren, Sarah Davis, J. T. Davis, Ashley Bargeron and Abigail Mixon, her sister and brother in law, Patricia Evelyn and Ferral Monier of Louisiana, her brother and sister in law, J. L. and Joan Rogers of Lake Park, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie E. Smith and a brother, Howard Rogers.

Funeral services will be held at 11am, Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Lake Park Church of God with Pastor Keith Sandlin officiating. Burial will follow in the Lake Park Cemetery.
