Ingeborg Burton

INGEBORG BURTON, 74, of Valdosta died Sunday, September 18, 2005 at her home. She was born in Stuttgart, Germany on April 19, 1931 to the late Karl and Karolina Staruss Zimmerman. Mrs. Burton had lived in Cusseta, Georgia before moving to Valdosta ten years ago. She was a homemaker and a Protestant.

Survivors include a daughter in law, Sheila Beach Burton of Cusseta, two grandchildren, Jacob Beach and David Beach and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Stanley Burton, Sr. who died on March 3, 2005 and her son, Emerson Stanley Burton, Jr. who died on September 4, 2001.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, September 21, 2005 in the chapel of Carson McLane Funeral Home with the Rev. Skip Van Nus officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
