Inez B. Lott

Inez Brown Lott, 71, of Valdosta died on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Heritage Healthcare following a lengthy illness. She was born in Lowndes County on August 29, 1938 to the late R.V. and Lillie Baucom Brown and has been a lifetime resident of Lowndes County. She was a homemaker and a member of Forrest Park Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Allen McLeod; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert H., Jr. and Maxine Lott; grandchildren, Dustin Lott, Raymond Lott, Bobby Miles, and Chrissy Lott all of Valdosta; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruth and Elwood Starling, Irene Brown and Frances and Floyd Draper; a sister-in-law, Catherine Brown all of Valdosta; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Brown and a brother, Julian Brown.

Services for Inez Lott will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 in the chapel of the Carson McLane Funeral Home with Mr. Bill Ward officiating. The burial will follow in the Copeland Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
